Coorabell Hall

Coorabell Hall is a community-run country hall in the Byron Bay hinterland, with a long history of bringing people together for music, arts, cultural activities and social events. The current hall was rebuilt on its present site in 1920 and sits high on the ridge along Coolamon Scenic Drive, overlooking Byron Bay with wide coastal views.

Its programme changes over time, with the website pointing to monthly films, coffee, curries and other regular happenings alongside special events. The hall is also used for dances, concerts, weddings, pop-up food events, art and cooking classes, workshops, yoga, music and theatre. A coffee cart provides a morning stop, while pizzas on Monday evenings and noodles on Thursday evenings are also listed among its current activities.

For generations, Coorabell residents have gathered here for full-moon dances, meetings, classes and community celebrations.
