Lighthouse Beach is one of Ballina’s main beaches, stretching for approximately 500 metres along Lighthouse Parade in East Ballina. It’s popular for swimming and surfing, with the northern end offering some protection when northerly winds are blowing.
Walking tracks at either end provide views across the beach towards North Wall and the Ballina Headland. The northern section is patrolled during school holidays and on summer weekends, making it a practical choice for families planning a beach outing, while the open coastal setting also suits a solo walk or relaxed swim.
